This free download software works with the TCR hardware. The V-data Timecode Reader decodes IRIG-B timecode and displays the time on the PC screen. It also allows the PC clock to be synchronized with IRIG-B time and shows the millisecond error between the PC clock and the incoming IRIG-B at any moment. The TCR is optimized for use with the V-data TCG but will also work with generic sources of IRIG-B at nominal 3V peak-peak level. Requires XP, Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8 operating system and a USB port. Microsoft .NET Framework 4 is required, and will be installed automatically by the downloader if it isn't already installed on your system. USB drivers for TCR hardware can be downloaded from FTDI's website: Windows 32/64 bit D2XX drivers.

Instructions and files needed to upgrade the firmware in the GPS-18x internal or external receivers used with the V-data TCG. The firmware upgrade will resolve problems with the date caused by the GPS roll-over.

ECReader allows you to decode edge-code data from images generated by the VED-M. In addition, it allows you to automatically download a satellite image of the area specified by the spatial coordinates specified in the edge-code! Requires Windows 98/2000/ME/NT/XP, and version 1.0 of the .NET Framework
