The V-data Timecode Reader Model TCR decodes IRIG-B timecode and displays the time on the PC screen.
It also allows the PC clock to be synchronized with IRIG-B time and shows the millisecond error
between the PC clock and the incoming IRIG-B at any moment. The TCR is optimized for use with the
V-data TCG but will also work with generic sources of IRIG-B at nominal 3V peak-peak level. There is
a BNC connector for IRIG-B, a DB9M connector for the TCG, and a USB connector for the PC. The latest
software version is available for free download below under software. Requires XP, Vista, Windows 7,
or Windows 8 Operating System and a USB port. USB drivers for TCR hardware can be downloaded from
FTDI's website: Windows 32/64 bit
D2XX drivers.

The V-data Timecode Generator Model TCG is a crystal controlled IRIG-B Timecode source which will synchronize with 1 microsecond accuracy to GPS receiver outputs when available, otherwise reverting to coast or fail-safe mode. Available with internal GPS receiver/antenna, or compatible with external GPS receiver/antenna Models GPS-18xLVC and GPS-17xHVS below under accessories. For information on product enclosure, please go to CircuitShell.com. (See downloads for instructions and files needed to upgrade the firmware in the GPS-18x internal or external receivers used with the V-data TCG. The firmware upgrade will resolve date errors caused by the GPS roll-over.)
This Video Encoder/Decoder is optimized for general purpose precision time and event stamping in
Encode Mode, and video motion analysis in Decode Mode. Time input is IRIG-B from the TCG product
above, or GPS from an external GPS Receiver/Antenna such as Models GPS-18x or GPS-17HVS below under
accessories.
price $1375
This is a multi-channel version of the VED-I. Features up to 10 video channels and desktop or
rack-mount enclosure. Time input is IRIG-B or GPS.
Price $5100 for 5 channels
This is a flash bulb sequencer for extended high-power illumination. It fires 8 flash bulbs at 1-99
ms intervals after a trigger and 0-99 ms delay. Units can be cascaded for additional illumination
time. Can optionally be configured as an electronic flash sequencer with appropriate intervals and
delays.
Price $1245
This five-channel Adaptive Video Amplifier automatically adjusts video levels back to the standard 1V
p-p into a 75 ohm termination. Useful for correcting attenuation problems due to long lines and
misadjustment. Can also be configured as a video distribution amplifier. An optional rack-mount panel
holds two AVA units.
Price: $935
This Video Encoder/Decoder is optimized for moving vehicles and inserts full GPS data and precision
time in Encode Mode. In Decode Mode, GPS data is reconstructed and output in moving-map compatible
NMEA form. Time input is GPS.
This Global Time and Position unit is a IRIG-B timecode generator which synchronizes to an internal
or external GPS receiver. Features include programmable IRIG user bits, LED drivers, GPS serial and
pulse-per-second outputs, and serial output event capture.
This Light Event Detector detects infrared light pulses from muzzle flashes, lightning, laser, and
other sources with wavelengths out to 1.3 microns. Powered by the user interface or the optional
Signal Conditioning Unit (SCU)
This Signal Conditioning Unit (SCU) can be used to power and control the LED-1 or as a general
purpose closure-to-pulse converter. It features automatic or manual reset and selection of various
pulse amplitudes or closure output.
This Video Sync Generator generates two composite video sync outputs synchronized to either IRIG-B or
GPS pulse-per-second inputs. Useful for synchronizing multiple video cameras at geographically
separated locations.
